Yesterday I talked about my time at Sandals Emerald Bay. Today I am going to talk about my time at Beaches Turks & Caicos. When we landed in the Turks airport, it was about 6pm and pretty dark out. We didn’t get to see much on our drive, but we were all pretty tired anyways. Once we arrived at the resort, I was escorted to my fabulous 2 bedroom villa in the Key West section of the resort. Here is just a teaser of the front porch-
The level of service here is just at a whole other level. The property is extremely large, and if you ask a worker for directions, they are not going to point you the right way; they are going to stop what they are doing and walk you there. Every worker that walks by you is going to greet you. I am not sure there is any way you could be in a bad mood here! Their hospitality is definitely two thumbs up!!
My next review will be the food. My first night that I arrived, I was dying for some hibachi. Out of the 19 resorts on property, they have just what I wanted! Their hibachi resort is called Kimonos, and yes, it is also INCLUDED! This restaurant you would need reservations for. Not all restaurants require reservations though, so there will always be something available for you. The food was so delicious, paired with my Beringer Chardonnay. Just like hibachi here in the states, my plate was covered with beef, chicken, rice, veggies, shrimp, and also fish! Lets just say, my sundress was feeling a little snug after. Which brings up dress code. Most of the a la carte restaurants are resort casual, which a nice sundress would suffice for. They are not too formal, but you also wouldn’t wear your bathing suit to them.
After my delicious meal, I went right to bed (once I decided which bedroom I liked more!). The next morning my friend Shannon and I got up early and went to Bayside Restaurant for a buffet breakfast. Imagine this view while eating your eggs and bacon at 7am-
Not to mention it was 80 degrees. At breakfast. At 7am. After breakfast we had a meeting, and then after that we had a tour of the resort. The tour took quite a while, because it is such a huge property! There are different villages, such as Caribbean, French, Italian, and their new Key West Village, where I stayed. All of the Villages have rooms close to the ocean except the French. No matter where you are though, you can find a perfect view close by! What I love about this resort is that there are so many connecting rooms, that are perfect for more than one family traveling together. Plus, they are so accommodating for children! They have bunk beds and trundle beds for kids, and they also have a Sesame Street bedtime story tuck in for the kids! Here are a couple pictures from around the resort:
Poolside Cabana Camp Sesame View of Pool from one of the rooms Flow Rider
Things for kids to do at the resort: Camp Sesame, Lazy river, flow rider, snorkel, + lots more.
Things for adults and couples to do: romantic dinners, watersports, catamaran cruise, pool bar, lazy river + lots more.
I took a catamaran booze cruise on the second day I was in Turks, and that was sooo much fun!! It poured on us on our way to the private island, but when we were almost there, the skies cleared and it was hot sunshine! The water temperature was like bathwater! We had a DJ onboard, and of course a bar. There was even a slide off the back of the boat. This excursion I would recommend to anyone that likes a good party!
My time at Turks & Caicos was far too short, but I am already planning a trip back! Nothing would make me happier than you getting to experience this amazing resort as well, so please do not hesitate to contact me about getting a trip together! I can share more of my experiences with you, and hopefully you could share yours with me after you go back from your own trip! email@example.com
Well, I have been missing for a while, but I am back! I just got back yesterday from the Caribbean, and I wanted to share my experience with you all!!
I went on a FAM trip for work, to experience some resorts. It was a Sandals and Beaches trip, so I would be visiting Sandals and Beaches resorts.
I was really excited for the trip, since I LOVE Sandals/Beaches resorts. They really are all that they advertise!! For those of you that don’t know, Sandals and Beaches resorts are “All Inclusive”. This means once you get there, all your beverages (including alcohol!), food, non-motorized watersports, and MORE are at no additional cost! Most people don’t believe me when I tell them this, but it is absolutely true! You can go to any restaurant, drink all day, play all day, and not spend any money!
So back to my trip…We had a chartered plane for the whole event, so avoiding immigrations was amazing! 7am Monday morning, October 28, we left JFK airport and headed for Sandals Emerald Bay. Sandals Emerald Bay is in Exuma, in the Bahamian islands. Sandals is the main resort for this part of the Bahamas. We arrived in Exuma around 11am, and took our bus to the resort where we were welcomed like celebrities!
We started the morning with a resort tour, and I was amazed at how some place can be so perfect! If you are looking for a peaceful, romantic vacation, this is the place to be! They actually have a “Quiet Pool” on property. For a honeymoon, this place is just what you need! The water is so clear, and just an amazing color! Could you imagine this view out of your back door every day?
You can have it with your beachfront butler suite! Just imagine, arriving on the island, getting a warm, Caribbean welcome, and being brought to this picture-perfect place! Once you check in, your butler would take you to your room and then unpack your bags for you! Feel like taking a bath? Don’t worry, your butler will draw it for you while you finish your last daiquiri at the pool. Does this sound like somewhere you would want to be? It does for me!
I haven’t been able to catch up sleep yet since my trip, so I am going to leave it at that for tonight. Tomorrow I will update you on the rest of my trip! In the meantime, if you want more info on getting yourself to this beautiful resort, feel free to email me! firstname.lastname@example.org . I would love for you to get to see what I have!
